Recommended hair styling cream for permed hair | Asian Hair Care Tip

Here’s a highly recommended hair styling cream for Asian permed hair. The TIGI Bed Head Small Talk and Shiseido digna VA is my all-time favourite hair cream for my permed hair. Not only it smells good but also strong and lasting enough to hold the curls without the sticky feeling. I’ve also recommended to other friends and they love it too. (^_____^)

To achieve best results, first wet your hair using your fingers with some water. With your hands still wet, squeeze a pea size amount on your palm and then rub your palm together. Scrunch your hair from bottom in an upward motion and left it to dry naturally.

If your hair is too wet, dry it with a hair dryer. There is a tactic to blow dry your permed hair to bring out the curls. Instead of drying it in the normal up and down motion, you should lay a section of your hair on your palm and point the hair dryer to your palm and repeat this section by section. Do scrunch the hair with your fingers as you are blowing it. Blow it for 2-3 seconds and then pull the hair dryer away and then blow it for 2-3 seconds again and so forth if your fingers get too hot. Doing this will set the hair right and create lasting curls. The logic behind this is that gravity tends to pull a heavier weight on wet hair and if you let it dry naturally, the curls won’t be as nice as blowing it dry with this method.

Towards the end of the day, you might find that the curls start to frizz out. You actually do not need to reapply the hair cream, simply wet your hair using your fingers and you will ‘reactivate’ the existing hair cream on it. So wet your hair again, scrunch it and leave it to dry naturally and you will see the curls once more.
